The Educational Achievement Award Application Packet (coming 2017)
Get involved in a church project or charity program to help our community prosper. Community service at Second Calvary includes the James M. Hinton Community Development Foundation. The Foundation's mission is to provide services that positively impact the quality of life in the North Columbia area and the surrounding communities.
It also includes the Summer Feeding Program. The Summer Feeding Program starts in June and continues to August. Volunteers from the church assist in feeding children from surrounding apartment complexes on a daily basis. The feeding takes place from 11:00-12:00. 2016 marks our 5th year of involvement. Volunteers pick up the food from Richland 1 Central Kitchen, transport it to the church, serve the food and cleanup afterward.
Second Calvary Baptist Church Resources exists to create relevant, community and educational information for our members as well as for visitors of our church and website. These resources will assist you as you seek services throughout our community.
This site is growing, so we hope you will check back often. If you have developed resources or other materials that you think might be helpful to others, please let us know so we can include them in our resources listing.
